First pic with my new photocamera 8D I got a Canon Eos 550D and I love it ;w; One of the first photo's I took with it :3

So this is my cat Arjen c: Yes his eye is really missing >3<

How Arjen lost his eye:

Arjen was still a very small kitten, about 3 months old. He got into a fight with another cat, who scratched his eye. I didn't see it happen so first I suspected it was an infection. But Arjen kept getting weaker so I took him to a vet. He gave me some meds and to see how it went the next week, but it didn't help much aside from the painkillers. He needed a surgery. My parents didn't want it, and wanted to put him down because it was 'too expensive'.
It broke my heart to see how strong and brave Arjen was, always purring when I came to see how he was doing eventhough he was so weak. So I posted a journal on dA, asking for donations and people to commission me so I could raise funds for the surgery, which costed aloooot of money. So together with my friends and my buddies here on dA (much love) we saved Arjen.

He now lives as a happy and healthy kitty with us here. He has adjusted very good and is the most adorable and friendly guy cat I've ever met c: He is truly a brave cat

update 2016: Arjen had now passed away, sadly. We knew from the start he wouldn't live a long life due to problems with his esophagus. It's very sad he didn't have a long life, but he did have a very happy one with tons of love that he received but also gave to us ♥
