Description
A colour/shading tutorial c| Sorry for any spelling mistakes or bad grammar if there is, but I really hope despite of that this tut is understandable, if you got any questions or anything just Note me, or comment c: I know this tutorial is a combination of Photoshop and Open Canvas but that's just how ==>I<== like to work. I use Photoshop CS3 and Open Canvas 4.06EPlus for my work. You should be able to download a free version of Open Canvas 1.1, just google it. It works fairly the same as Open Canvas4.06EPlus, and you should be able to perform the steps I used in that version too c:
Open Canvas and Photoshop work well together, because Open Canvas allows you to open PSD files as well. So save your progress in a PSD file so you can import it into Open Canvas to continue with the Shading steps.
And if you don't have Photoshop, the tools I used are usually integrated in other programms too like Paint Shop Pro and Painter.
Anyways enough babbling, enjoy the tut and I hope it's helpful!
